Russellasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will introduce an order to bring up to date the Export of Horses (Veterinary Examination) Order 1966 in order to make the value of a heavy draft horse referred to in Section 5(a) and of a vanner, mule or jennet in Section 5(b) each at least £200; and of an ass referred to in Section 5(c) at least £50.
§ Mr. Anthony StodartMy right lion. Friend is at present reviewing the minimum values for the export of certain types of horses and ponies specified in various Orders under the Diseases of Animals Act 1950 and in the Ponies Act 1969.
