§ 9. Mr. Whiteheadasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what information he has regarding the safety of diplomatic representatives and other British nationals in Hanoi and other areas of North Vietnam recently subjected to heavy bombing.
§ Mr. Anthony RoyleOur consul-general, his wife and the vice-consul at Hanoi are in good health. We have no direct information about the small number of other British nationals in North Vietnam but we have no reason to think that they are not safe and well, particularly as a ceasefire has now come to Indo-China.
