Their advice would be in advance of the development of the Code of Practice on Falsework which the British Standards Institution is now undertaking, and which may take at least two years to complete. We intend to consult a number of interested bodies, including professional institutions, the TUC, the CBI and the British Standards Institution on the constitution and terms of reference of the committee and will announce these and the names of the chairman and members as soon as possible.
