§ Sir B. Rhys Williamsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of the net annual cost, taking into account savings in social security expenditure, of paying tax-free family allowances of £2 per week in respect of all children including the first and simultaneously ending all child allowances for tax purposes.
