Mallalieuasked the Secretary of State for the Environment on what date he received representations from the West Riding County Council about a possible substitution of a 40 mph speed limit for the existing 50 mph limit on the Huddersfield - Wakefield - Hook Moor County Road A642 as it approaches Lepton Church of England School; when 166W the county council may expect a reply; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. SpeedRepresentations were received on the 29th August 1972. They have been under consideration since then and a reply will be given shortly when the effect of other road safety measures which have recently been implemented at the site can be assessed.
