§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what has been the rise in prices of animal feeds since 6th November 1972; and what steps he is taking to ensure that such increases are justified.
§ Mrs. FennerThe latest available figures show that between the end of October and the end of December 1972, the Great Britain price of animal feeds increased by an average of 7 per cent. Applications for price increase are subject to stringent examination to determine the ability of firms to absorb raw material costs, and to check quoted raw material prices against current market information.
