§ Mr. van StraubenzeeThe Northern Ireland Housing Executive is formulating a general policy governing the sale of public authority housing accommodation, in consultation with the Ministry of Development and the Northern Ireland Housing Council.
A policy has already been established for the sale of pre-war labourers' cottages to sitting tenants or, in the case of vacant cottages, by public auction, if there is no local demand for accommodation from the executive's waiting list.
