§ Mr. Moateasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to complete and to publish his plans for a network of statutorily designed lorry routes; and approximately when he expects the scheme to be introduced.
§ Mr. PeytonI have at present no proposals for statutorily designated lorry routes. My present advice is that lorries should be routed on to the primary network avoiding sensitive areas where possible.
§ Mr. Moateasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress is being made under his policy for the establishment of lorry parks; and if he will publish a list of where such parks have been or are to be established in 1973.
§ Mr. PeytonSites for the national network are being identified on a regional basis. Tenders for development of the first site to be acquired by the Department will be invited shortly.
