§ Mr. David Jamesasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will seek to ascertain which European countries have regulations requiring car ignition systems to be wired through the side light and/or headlight circuit, thus preventing movement without lights switched on, and if he will publish this information;
(2) if he will seek to ascertain which European countries have regulations requiring car ignition systems to be wired through seat belt attachments, thus preventing movement unless seat belts are fastened, and if he will publish this information.
