§ Mr. Anthony StodartIt is estimated that production of sugar in 1972–73 in the nine countries forming the enlarged Community—including the overseas departments of France—plus imports into the United Kingdom of the sugar purchased under the Commonwealth Sugar Agreement, will exceed what is used for human consumption by about 1.2 million tons. It is too early to forecast the position in 1973–74.
