§ Mr. Bishopasked the Secretary of State for Employment what is his estimate of the number of students leaving school in the Lincoln and Newark areas in the summer; and what action he is taking to secure employment opportunities for them.
115W
§ Mr. Dudley SmithAbout 550 and 390 young people are expected to leave school in the Lincoln and Newark careers office areas, respectively, this summer. As a result of the raising of the school leaving age, the numbers are considerably less than in 1972 and it is expected that most will find jobs without difficulty.
