§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many new square feet of factory space have been approved in each of the last 12 months in each planning region of the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantThe available information is as follows. The figures are not, however, comparable because in July industrial development certificate control was abolished in the development and special development areas and the exemption limits, below which IDCs are not required, were raised to 10,000 sq. ft. in the South East and 15,000 sq. ft. elsewhere.
