§ Mr. Juddasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT details of the suicide rate for each of the past five years in the twenty largest cities and county boroughs of England and Wales outside London, together with details of the admissions to hospital following attempted suicide during the same years 299W in each of the same areas; and whether he will take steps to initiate an official inquiry into the causes of suicide and attempted suicide in urban areas.
