Mr. Eddieasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he expects to occupy the computer centre being built for his Department in the new town of Livingston; and how many jobs, male and female, will be involved.
§ Mr. DeanMy Department expects to occupy stage 1 of the Livingston computer centre—that part housing the computer equipment—by November 1974, and the remainder of the centre by the end of March 1975. A total of about 180 jobs will be involved of which we hope to fill 150, mainly female, by local recruitment.
