§ Mr. Michael HeseltineThe next stage in the post-Apollo programme is the Phase B2 study into the sortie lab and I have offered the European Space Research Organisation a contribution of £300,000 to this stage. In doing so I have made it clear that the United Kingdom is in no way committed to participating in further stages of the studies or in the subsequent development and construction phases.
