HC Deb 06 February 1973 vol 850 c88W
Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many cases are presently pending before the National Industrial Relations Court, each arising in which an individual has laid a complaint against a trade union as defined by the Act, or an organisation of workers; and if he will state the number of cases brought under each appropriate section of the Act.

Mr. Chichester-Clark

Three such cases are pending before the National Industrial Relations Court. Each arising under Section 101 of the Industrial Relations Act.

According to the latest information available to my Department, 104 complaints against trade unions or other organisations of workers have been made to industrial tribunals under Section 107 of the Act, of which 26 await hearing or the promulgation of decisions. In addition a small number of complaints have been made under Section 106.
