§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will visit the headquarters of the Crippled Help Society in Manchester; if he will give some financial assistance to help it expand its exhibition of Aids for Disabled People and to develop its information retrieval system on such aids for the Manchester area; and if he will make a statement.
§ Sir K. JosephI understand that the society provides local services towards the cost of which it already receives grants from several local authorities; and it is to those sources the society should look if further financial help is needed. I have no plans at present to visit the society but I will bear the hon. Member's suggestion in mind when opportunity offers.
