§ Mr. GodberThe latest figure available from the Inland Revenue's series24W showed that the average price of sales of agricultural land notified during the six months ended 30th September 1972 was £234 per acre, an increase of about 24 per cent. over the corresponding price a year earlier. Details were given in a Press notice issued on 5th December 1972. It is not possible from these data to separate arable from other agricultural land.
