§ 13. Mr. Sydney Chapmanasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on the latest situation with regard to oil supplies within and on the way to the United Kingdom, with particular reference to the distribution of petrol supplies throughout the country.

There is one power station formerly coal-fired which is being converted to oil. This is Padiham B with a capacity of 224 MW.
