HL Deb 19 December 1973 vol 348 c453WA
LORD O'HAGAN

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many times the United Kingdom has caused the Chairmen of Management Committees of the Commission of the European Communities to raise particular subjects in these Committees.

THE MINISTER OF STATE, FOREIGN AND COMMONWEALTH OFFICE (BARONESS TWEEDSMUIR OF BELHELVIE)

My Lords, matters are frequently raised in Management Committees at the request of representatives of Member States, including the United Kingdom. The number of occasions on which this has occurred could only be ascertained at disproportionate cost to public funds.
