§ Sir G. HoweThe Council of Ministers has now approved the 1974 Generalised Preference Scheme of the enlarged Community. The regulations embodying the detailed scheme of the EEC for 1974 will be published shortly. It is our expectation that the scheme will provide considerable opportunities for the developing world to improve its trade with the enlarged Community.
