§ Miss Boothroydasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement concerning the two student visitors from Lahore who have been detained at London Airport since 10th December.
§ Mr. LaneThese two passengers were refused leave to enter because the immigration officer was not satisfied that only a visit was intended. I am not prepared to reverse the decision and I am writing to the hon. Member explaining why. The passengers are being returned to Paris.
