§ Mr. Redmondasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations have been made to him concerning the non-availability of oil for heating of old people's homes in Bolton and elsewhere; what replies he has sent; and what action he has been able to take.
§ Mr. Tom BoardmanI have not received any such representations, nor am I aware of any special problems in regard to the supply of heating oil in Bolton. The local regional director of the Department will, however, be prepared to assist in any instances where difficulty is being experienced in obtaining adequate supplies of oil for heating old people's homes.
