HC Deb 13 December 1973 vol 866 c175W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what investigation his Department has made of Piccadilly Estates following the suspension of trading in its shares; if any of the public money granted to the firm is retrievable; and if he will make a statement.

Sir G. Howe

I have no information which would justify the exercise of the Department's investigatory powers, nor am I aware of any public funds granted to this company which fall to be repaid in the present circumstances.
