§ Mr. Tom BoardmanNo. There is no obligation for companies conducting seismic surveys in non-designated areas of the United Kingdom Continental Shelf to supply the results of these surveys to the Department of Trade and Industry. In such areas the Department either purchases174W available commercial data or commissions surveys of its own in conjunction with the Institute of Geological Sciences.
