§ Mr. Gibson-WattLocal authorities are already well aware of the powers available under Section 138 of the Transport Act 1968. It is for these authorities to take their own decisions in the light of local circumstances and to determine their own priorities. So far, 42 local authorities in Wales have made arrangements to operate concessionary bus fare schemes for pensioners.
