§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will, under the emergency powers, direct the relaxation of restrictions on working hours of bus-driving members of the Transport and General Workers Union so that those who wish to work overtime shall not be prevented from so doing.
§ Mr. PeytonThe relevant provisions of the Fuel and Electricity (Control) Act enable me only to relax statutory requirements affecting drivers' hours. Overtime is a matter for industrial negotiation.
