§ Mr. ChannonThe possible scope for housing action areas in South Shields was one of the number of matters I discussed with the council on my recent visit. I welcomed the council's willingness to consider preparing for the forthcoming housing legislation. But no formal decision could, of course, be reached in advance of it.
