HL Deb 12 December 1973 vol 347 c1270WA
LORD SHEPHERD

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will make available in the Library of the House of Lords a copy of the minutes of the Constitutional Conference on Grenada held in London in October, 1972, and May, 1973.

EARL FERRERS

A communiqué was issued after the talks on October 24 and 25, 1972, between a delegation led by the Premier of Grenada and including the Leader of the Opposition and the Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. I have arranged for a copy of this document to be placed in the Library of the House.

The report of the Grenada Constitutional Conference which was held in London in May, 1973, together with Her Majesty's Government's decision, were presented to Parliament in July by my right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs in Command 5379. The minutes of the Conference sessions are confidential to the participants.

House adjourned at seventeen minutes past eight o'clock.
