§ Mr. Edward Lyonsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Regina versus Smith (Martin), he will introduce legislation to grant a right of appeal from orders of the Crown Court in interlocutory matters relating to trial on indictment when the trial results in an acquittal.
