§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how much fuel 100W oil has been diverted to power stations because of the miners' industrial dispute; if he can give an estimate of how much more fuel he will have to divert from industry and the motorist to power stations between now and Christmas if the miners' dispute continues; and if he will make this information known as widely as possible.
§ Mr. Tom BoardmanI have made arrangements for the CEGB to receive an increased supply of residual fuel oil for its power stations above what they had planned to burn this winter. The increased supplies will come from the cuts that have already been made in fuel allocations to other users.
