§ Mr. Gordon CampbellNo. The abolition of all leasehold of houses would 121W mean the abolition of ordinary short-term letting of houses, for example by a local authority. Subject, however, to certain specified exceptions, leases of houses for a term of more than 20 years will be prohibited by the Land Tenure Reform (Scotland) Bill now before Parliament.
