§ 56. Mr. Blenkinsopasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what progress has been made in finding new ownership and management for the Ryton Marine Company on Tyneside.
§ Mr. ChatawayMy right hon. Friend appointed a receiver of the assets of this company on 2nd October in response to a request from the company to do so. The receiver, Mr. William Mackey, has received a number of inquiries about the sale of the shipyard and is still negotiating with interested parties.
