§ Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT the waiting times for non-urgent new out-patients in each major specialty in the Newport and East Monmouthshire Hospital Management Committee area.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasWhile urgent cases are treated immediately, waiting times for other patients are not meaningful as these depend on the hospital in question, the consultant selected to see the patient and the degree of urgency attached to the case by the referring doctor.
