further reduction of about 10 per cent. In addition to this further reduction in the numbers of movements, I am also extending the hours during which the restrictions on departures apply by half an hour on weekdays to 06.30 local time, and by two hours on Sunday to 08.00 hours. The extended period on Sundays will apply to all jet aircraft but on weekdays noise certificated aircraft will be exempt from the effect of the extension. I shall 15W shortly be considering the possibility of restrictions in winter months of 1974–75.
