Member for Farnworth on 9th November 1973 represented restriction on relief on interest paid for house purchase to £1,000 and what part the withdrawal of interest relief for other borrowing for non-business purposes.
§ Mr. NottNo precise estimate is possible, but by far the greater part, perhaps 90 per cent., relates to the withdrawal of relief from interest on non-business borrowing other than for house purchase.
