HC Deb 04 December 1973 vol 865 c339W
Mr. R. C. Mitchell

asked the Prime Minister if he is satisfied with the coordination between the Department of Employment and the Department of Health and Social Security concerning the industrial rehabilitation allowances paid to people previously receiving social security benefits for long-term sickness.

The Prime Minister

Yes. My right hon. Friends are actively considering the position that may sometimes arise where the allowances payable for attendance on an industrial rehabilitation course may be lower than the benefits which were previously received.
