JosephWe are seeking to promote greater knowledge and understanding of the syndrome as well as co-ordination between all the various services concerned, to secure the swiftest possible diagnosis, safety and treatment of the child first, and where appropriate provide treatment or help for the parents as well. My Department is currently preparing further guidance which I hope to issue early in the New Year.
