§ Mr. Norman Lamontasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether any part of the latest call for special deposits from the clearing banks will receive nil interest.
§ Mr. NottAll special deposits will be treated in the same way under stage 3 of the Government's counter-inflation policy. Interest will be withheld from a proportion related to the banks' current account business.
