§ Mrs. ThatcherPrecise information is not available but for 1971–72 universities' income from fees for full-time postgraduate courses is estimated to have been about £3 million in respect of home students and a similar sum for overseas students. Fee income in respect of full-time postgraduate students in the non-university sector is estimated to have been about £¼ million.
