§ Mr. Roseasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in the light of the fact that 30 per cent. of fatal road accidents occur in respect of persons over 60 years of age, he will initiate a campaign among clubs and other organisations catering for the elderly to draw their attention to the increasing hazards to pedestrians.
§ Mr. PeytonI intend to start a national publicity campaign on pedestrian safety in the autumn.
