§ Mrs. Joyce Butlerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what 221W representations have been made by the EEC Directorate for the Environment and Consumer Affairs to the Commission in regard to the effect on consumers of the increase in food prices under the common agricultural policy of the EEC.
§ Mrs. FennerThe Directorate for the Protection of the Environment and the Consumer is a new department of the Commission. The Commissioner responsible for the directorate is able to play a full part in all discussions by the Commission of Community policies, especially those affecting consumers.
