§ Mr. DeanThe question of benefits for one-parent families is one of the matters being considered by the Finer Committee. In the meantime, special provision has already been made for one-parent families in the family income supplement scheme and in the scheme for rent rebates and allowances under the Housing Finance Act 1972.
