§ Mr. CarlisleThe arrangements for the "A" and "B" salary scales generally are to be examined afresh by the Joint Negotiating Committee for the Probation Service in the light of the long-term interests of the service. Meanwhile, the committee has recently advised probation and after-care committees that for the present the selection procedures should continue to be as promulgated by the committee last October.
