§ Mr. RipponMy hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State, the Member for Bury St. Edmunds (Mr. Eldon Griffiths), takes a general interest in all matters appertaining to sport. In doing so he maintains close contact with the Chairman of the Sports Council, which has executive responsibility for promoting the provision of sporting facilities.
