§ Mr. Graham PageMy right hon. and learned Friend is satisfied that the provisions which already exist under Section 19 of the Coast Protection Act 1949 give an expectation of compensation adequate to prevent depreciation from the prospect of coast protection works. Compensation in the form of purchase under the blight notice procedure would not be justified where works which might involve demolition of the property are no more than a possibility.
