§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will provide premises, funding and facilities for the display of architectural models, both historic and contemporary.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasWhile the hon. Member's suggestion is attractive, it is not part of my noble Friend's responsibilities to provide such facilities. On the other hand many museums and galleries show architectural models. The Department of the Environment and other agencies show models where they are relevant to their building projects. The majority of models are not judged to be of a quality which would justify permanent display.
