HoweA major Bill to implement recommendations of the Crowther Committee for a complete reform of the law relating to all types of consumer credit transactions will be introduced as soon as possible. No decision has yet been taken on the committee's recommendations for reform of the law on lending and security generally which is mainly of concern to those entering into non-consumer transactions.
