§ Mr. David Clarkasked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications what use is made by his Department of the Ordnance Survey 2½ in.-to-the-mile maps: and if he considers that satisfactory alternatives to these maps are available for the purposes for which they are currently used.
§ Sir J. EdenSome use of these maps is made in my Department in connection with studies of radio and television reception. The review of use in the public sector of maps at this scale announced by the Director-General of the Ordnance Survey on 20th February will show whether satisfactory alternatives are available.
