§ Mr. Roderickasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will authorise increased capital expenditure on infrastructure works in the development areas beyond March 1973.
§ Mr. RipponI presume that the hon. Member has in mind the special infrastructure works programme announced by my predecessor on 14th July 1971. I do not think that a further programme of this sort would be appropriate in present conditions.
